For years you have been writing to the Rebbe and sending a photo of each letter to the Ohel. They are all there, in your Gmail, buried among thousands of emails. rebestatus gathers them, reads them, and gives you back your own story.

What rebestatus is
With your authorization, rebestatus connects to your Gmail account in read-only mode and searches only for the emails you sent to the Ohel. From those messages it saves the photos of your letters, transcribes them into text using artificial intelligence, and separates each thing you asked for, so you can read and search your complete story.
That is the only reason we request access to Gmail: without it we could not find your letters. The permission is read-only — rebestatus cannot send, reply to or delete any email — the rest of your mailbox is never read or stored, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account.
No one sees anyone else's: each account can only reach its own letters, and the database enforces that — not a promise. We do not read them either.
The hard part
A photo taken with a phone, crooked, in living-room light. The AI reads it, keeps your line breaks, leaves the Hebrew in Hebrew, and marks [ilegible] where it cannot tell — it never invents what is not there.
Then it separates each thing you asked for, one by one, with its theme.
Try it right here, with a sample letter.
How it works
With read-only access. Every mailbox you have used over the years, not just one.
It searches your whole history for the emails you sent to the Ohel and saves every photo.
It transcribes your handwriting and separates each thing you asked for, one by one.
Every request keeps its theme: health, parnassah, shidduchim, Torah, family. You find out what you have really been asking for, and how it changed.
You mark which brachot were fulfilled — no system can know that. And when a letter gives thanks for something, it recognizes that on its own.
If you have never written to the Rebbe, you can do it from here. It goes to the Ohel and is archived from day one.
ב״ה
The most intimate thing you have should not depend on you trusting us. That is why the isolation is not a policy: it lives in the database.
No one sees anyone else's letters
Every query is confined to your account by the database engine itself. Even if our code had a bug, the database would return nothing.
We do not read them either
Nobody on the team opens your letters. They are transcribed automatically and stay in your account only.
The photos are not public
They live in a closed store. When you open a letter, a link is generated that lasts one hour and works only for you.
Your Gmail access is encrypted
It is read-only, stored encrypted, and you can revoke it whenever you want from your Google account, without asking us.
